April Open House

I am hosting a show and sale of my recent work on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Bricolage Art Collective in Paducah, Kentucky. The body of work will consist of mainly bowls of various sizes, along with some beautiful little cups and some larger covered jars. I am very pleased with this collection, and I hope you’ll join me for a glass of wine, some nice conversation and some new pots… straight from the kiln.

This open house will be fun and relaxed, and the ceramics pieces will be accessible and affordable. I'll be there talking about ceramics, music, art, and other things. Learn more about the Open House by clicking here.

Immediately following my reception, there will be another installment of the Rivertown Reading Series. Learn more about that event here.

Bricolage Art Collective is an amazing space, curating the works of dozens of local artists, including myself. The shop is open year-round, and is located at 107 Market House Square, Paducah, KY 42001

Sabores y Saberes Festival

San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico

I was lucky enough to attend this amazing UNESCO cultural exchange in Mexico recently, where I met some amazing people. I am so proud to have represented my fair city of Paducah and the great commonwealth of Kentucky, through my combined passions of music and ceramics. Check this out.

It was there that I made connections with  Icheon, South Korea's "Master Hand" potters, Lee Hyuang Gu, seen here, and  Kim Young-Su, seen here. The ceramic artists of Chiapas, Mexico, blew my mind with their hand made animal figures and pots. I was also lucky enough to meet an amazing potter from Chihuahua, Mexico.

I'll write more on this later. I really changed my life.
